Supplies & Filters Needed
No outside fiters needed
PSP tube
(a tube wider than taller works best)
If you need western tubes I have a bunch I

All Settings remain the same unless otherwise noted.
Getting Ready
Open Your Tube of choice
And the barbed wire
Duplicate (Shift D) close original
Image, Resize the western tube
Width = No more than 400 Pixels
Height = 325 Pixels
Make sure Lock aspect ratio is unchecked
Minimize for now
With your Dropper Tool
Select a Light color from your tube for Foreground
Select a Dark color from your tube for Background
Lets Start
We will begin by making a texture tile
That will will use later
1. On your palette, background color
Change to Pattern and find wood tile 2
Angle 0
Scale 50
Change your background using that pattern
2. Image, New image,
Width 200 pixels
Height 200 pixels
Transparent
3. Flood fill your new image with your pattern
4. Effects, texture effects
Weave
With the following settings
NOTE make the weave color
Using a medium color from your tube

Set to the side for now
HEADER
1. File, new
600 pixels width
500 pixels height
Transparent
2. Find your new texture you made and set it in your background color
Angle 0
Scale 100
3. Using your flood fill tool
Fill your new image with your background
4. Layer, new raster layer
5. Selections, select all
6. Selections, modify
Contract 80 pixels
Do not deselect
7. Flood fill the inside of that layer with your light color
Do not deselect
8. Open then tube you chose
Edit ,copy
Edit, paste
As new layer on your working image
9. Close off your tube layer for now using the eye on your palette.
Make sure you have layer 2 highlighted
10. Selections, invert
11. Effects, 3d effects
Cutout
Using the following settings
12. Selections invert
13. Effects, texture effects
Weave
14. Selections, select none
15. Effects, edge effects
Enhance
16. Adjust, add/remove noise
Add noise with the following settings
17. Layer, new raster layer
18. Selections, select all
19. Selections, modify
Contract 60 pixels
20. Selections, invert
21. Effects, 3d effects
Cutout
Do not deselect
22. Selections, invert
23. Layer, new raster layer
24. Selections, modify
Contract 20 pixels
25. Effects, texture effects
Weave
26. Effects, edge effects
Enhance
27. Adjust, add/remove noise
Add noise
28. Effects, 3d effects
Inner bevel with following settings
29. Selections invert
30. Effects, 3d effects
Cutout
31. Selections, select none
32. Open tube layer
Effects, 3d effects
Drop shadow
Your choice
33. Layers, Merge,
Merge all
34. Image add borders
20 pixels
Your foreground color
>35. Select border with your magic wand
36. Effects, texture effects
Weave
37. Effects, edge effects
Enhance
38. Adjust, add/remove noise
Add noise
39. Effects, 3d effects
Inner bevel
40. Open the Barbed wire tube
Find one that compliments your graphic
Close all other layers.
Edit Copy
41. Back to your header
Edit, paste
As new layer
42. Using your mover tool
And place your tube under the first border as shown below
43. Effects, 3d effects
Drop shadow
Same as you used on your tube
44. Layers duplicate
Image flip
45. Add your watermark you may resize if you like now too
46. File, Export, JPEG Optimizer
Compression value set to 20 or 25
Name your file and save
Background
1. Bring up the 200x200 texture you made
2. Effects, image effects
Seamless tile with settings below
3. Layer, new raster layer
4. Flood fill with foreground color
5. Turn the viscidity of this layer on your layer palette down to make text user friendly
6. File, Export, JPEG Optimizer
Compression value set to 20 or 25
Name your file and save
