This tutorial was written in Paint Shop Pro 9 but any version should work fine
This came about just playing in PSP

Supplies & Filters Needed
PSP tube No more than 280 Width and 380 Height
(Taller than wider works best)
Ribbonstitch PSP tube Here
Note... You can colorize this tube,
If you use a different Deco tube
you will have to adjust the Selection Tool
used in the Header Below
Filter > Impressionist- Quilt 2 Here

Getting Ready

Open your image in PSP
Duplicate (Shift + D ) close original
Pick a Light color for the Foreground and
A Dark color for Background
Edit, Copy

All Settings remain the same unless otherwise noted.

Header

1. File>New Image
Width 450 pixels
Height 400 pixels

2. Flood Fill with Background color
Selections, Select All

3. Edit, Paste, Paste Into Selection
Selections, Select None

4. Adjust, Blur, Average
Filter aperture 21

5. Effects, Plugins, Impressionist >
Style Natural Quilt 2
Background Image
Brush 100
Pressure
100



6. Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance

7. Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian
Noise 15
Monochrome Checked

8. Layers, New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with Background color

9. Effects, Plugins, Impressionist

10. On Palette Change that layer's Opacity to about 50

11. Edit, Paste, Paste as New Layer (tube should still be in browser)

12. Effects, 3-D Effects, Drop Shadow
V+H 0
Opacity 70
Blur 5.00
Shadow on new layer unchecked

13. Maximize your Deco tube
Edit, Copy

14. Back to your Image
Edit, Paste, Paste as new Layer

15. Mover Tool
Move to left and center it between top and bottom of Image



16. Effects, 3-D Effects, Drop Shadow

17. Layers, Duplicate
Image, Mirror

18. Layers, Merge, Merge All

19. Image, Add Borders
Symmetric checked, 3 Pixels, Foreground Color

20. Magic Wand, Select Border
Selections, Invert

21. Effects, 3-D Effects, Cutout

2. Layers, Promote Background Layer

3. Image, Canvas Size
Width 1250 ( or your Preference)
Height 366
Placement Upper Left

4. Layers, Duplicate
Image, Flip

5. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

6. Layers, New Raster Layer

7. Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom

8. Flood Fill, Background Color

9. Effects, Plugins, Impressionist

10. Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise

11. Layers, New Raster Layer

12. Flood Fill, Foreground Color
Change Opacity to 20-30

13. Effects, Plugins, Impressionist

14. Highlight Merged Layer on your Palette

15. Effects, 3-D Effects, Drop Shadow

16. File, Export, JPEG Optimizer
